Bed Bug Detection Dogs
After travelling to, purchasing from, and training with two of the three leading suppliers for bed bug detection dogs, Laurel constructed a program and started a group of six dogs, Team A, in September 2010. Another group of six, Team B, was started in December 2010.

Human Remains Detection
Laurel’s commitment to the Search and Rescue community naturally led to an interest in the “Recovery” or “Cadaver” dog.
Foundation for HRD happens in the “box room” where “if you don’t have ball drive, don’t come in.”
Ammo, a Belgian Malinois, is currently in the testing process to become a VDEM certified HRD dog. He has passed his urban test with his above ground and buried tests pending.
